UV-AOP technology uses ultraviolet light (particularly UV-C) to activate hydrogen peroxide or other chemical oxidants, producing hydroxyl radicals (·OH), which are powerful oxidants that effectively degrade organic pollutants in wastewater, such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and dyes.
