GMY Hosts Research Delegation from Jiangmen Polytechnic on Intelligent Manufacturing

Recently, a research delegation from Jiangmen Polytechnic visited GMY Lighting Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "GMY") to exchange insights on intelligent manufacturing development, industry-academia collaboration, and talent cultivation.

The delegation was led by Peng Zhiping, President of Jiangmen Polytechnic, along with Vice Presidents Cai Yong and Chen Zhongjian, as well as heads of relevant departments and faculties. Chen Wenguang, Member of the Standing Committee of Heshan Municipal Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Du Haiyan, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Heshan Federation of Industry and Commerce, also participated in the research activities. Hong Yannan, Chairman of GMY, warmly received the delegation.

During the visit, the delegation toured the LumiAgro Plant Factory and GMY's Lighting Technology Exhibition Hall, gaining a detailed understanding of GMY's latest achievements and practical applications in intelligent manufacturing equipment, product R&D innovation, production process optimization, and modern facility agriculture technology.

LumiAgro Plant Factory

The delegation thoroughly explored the diverse applications of lighting technology across different fields and showed keen interest in the modern facility agriculture cultivation model at the LumiAgro Plant Factory.

Subsequently, during the discussion session, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on key topics such as development trends in intelligent manufacturing, cutting-edge technology applications, effective models for industry-academia collaboration, and future-oriented skilled talent training systems. They unanimously agreed to strengthen cooperation, promote resource sharing, and advance high-quality talent development in intelligent manufacturing.

This research visit not only enhanced mutual understanding between the university and the enterprise but also provided new insights for boosting Heshan’s intelligent manufacturing industry. Moving forward, GMY will leverage its corporate strengths to actively collaborate with higher education institutions, jointly explore innovative cooperation pathways, and enhance its technological R&D capabilities and intelligent manufacturing standards.
