In response to the ongoing Chikungunya virus outbreak and in support of the Heishan Mosquito-borne Disease Prevention and Control Command's initiative for a city-wide patriotic hygiene campaign, GMY Party Branch members, union representatives, and employee representatives conducted a mosquito eradication campaign on September 22. The primary goal of this initiative was to implement mosquito eradication and breeding site elimination measures, thereby strengthening the safety barrier and creating a more comfortable and secure working and living environment for employees.
The focus of this action was on outdoor public spaces and indoor office and production areas, creating a dual defense line of "concentrated mosquito eradication + indoor protection." During the mosquito eradication process, fire safety personnel monitored the entire procedure to ensure the smooth progress of the mosquito eradication work while preventing fire safety hazards. Additionally, the company provided mosquito coils, mosquito lamps, and other prevention supplies in office and production areas to enhance protection and ensure a safe, healthy work environment.
GMY Party Branch focused on the goal of "cleaning stagnant water, clearing garbage, removing clutter, and eliminating dead corners." Party members, union representatives, and employees jointly carried out a comprehensive, thorough cleaning effort to completely eliminate sanitation dead zones and mosquito breeding grounds, actively promoting the establishment of "mosquito-free" areas.
Through internal communication channels, GMY widely spread knowledge on mosquito eradication, further enhancing employees' awareness of mosquito-borne disease prevention and strengthening their self-protection capabilities. At the same time, employees were encouraged to take individual actions, contributing to the creation of a robust defense against mosquito-borne diseases and jointly protecting a healthy and safe environment.
The GMY Party Branch will continue to utilize the leadership role of the Party organization, adopting the "branch leadership, Party member leadership, and public participation" model, strictly following guidelines to regularly carry out mosquito prevention and eradication efforts. This ongoing work will help solidify the prevention outcomes and effectively safeguard employees' health and safety.
