Recently, a delegation from the Jiangmen Shaanxi Chamber of Commerce visited GMY Lighting Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “GMY”) for a tour and exchange. Mr. Edward Hong, Chairman and President of GMY, warmly received the guests. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on corporate development, resource collaboration, and technological innovation, jointly exploring opportunities to leverage lighting technology to empower industrial upgrading.
During the visit, Mr. Edward Hong guided the delegation through the plant factory exhibition area of LumiAgro, a subsidiary of GMY, and introduced the application outcomes of lighting technology in controlled-environment agriculture. He explained that LumiAgro is committed to the R&D of plant growth under light, offering customized supplemental lighting solutions tailored to the specific light requirements of different crops, with the goal of improving growth efficiency and maintaining stable crop quality.
LumiAgro also provides integrated solutions for plant factories and modular container-based cultivation systems. These systems are characterized by flexible deployment and strong environmental adaptability, making them suitable for various application scenarios and supporting the controlled and standardized production of hydroponic organic produce.
Following the tour, Mr. Edward Hong delivered a presentation titled “Innovation and Application of Lighting Technology,” highlighting practical applications of lighting technology across a range of industries, including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, infection control and disinfection, controlled-environment agriculture, and environmental purification. He also shared GMY's technical approaches and development strategies in lighting technology applications, elaborating on the company's core philosophy: "Empowering industries through light."
This visit further strengthened mutual understanding between GMY and the Jiangmen Shaanxi Chamber of Commerce, laying a solid foundation for future resource alignment and project cooperation.
